Migrating To Facebook

This website is has been around a dozen years starting in the late 1990s because a friend of mine, once known as Bubba Jug in his catfishing days, told me that I should have it to support my outdoors radio show.

Bubba was a fantastic fisherman and is a smart businessman, so I created dougoutdoors.com

Thank you Bubba, you were correct.  

Fast forward to the brink of  2012 and I announce here that I am ending the dougoutdoors.com website era.

Not because Bubba isn’t still a genious, but because times have changed and I see a good future in social networking for many reasons that include benefits to sportsmen.

The news here is positive. The way I see it, there isn’t anything I cannot do on Facebook that I could do on my website. Actually, I see for an ability for you and me to do more on Facebook.

So, become my friend, or “like” me, or whatever term becomes popular in the coming days to participate in Facebook.

If you are able to get my website page, you are capable of becoming a Facebook networker in less than a minute.

Thanks Bubba Jug for your advice long ago. I’m still acting upon it, but in a more modern-day way.

I hope to see you all on my Facebook--which I will operate primarily as a venue for serious sportsmen and women who choose to particpate in it.
